CHAPTER SEVENTY-SIX: GETTING PUNISHED

~MAE~ I lodged in a hotel room since getting an apartment isn't something that can be done in a short time, and with the new phone I got, I could contact Rose. No thanks to Frank's cruel order of arriving at the office by 6 AM, I had to wake up as early as a few minutes to five. Truly, he's someone I know, but I made a decision to maintain a boss-to-staff relationship between us and nothing else. Last night, I made sure to order and eat something quite light, knowing fully well the consequences of not doing so. I had my bath quickly and brushed my teeth. I bought a few official clothes yesterday, so wearing something official this morning wasn't a problem. “Hm,” I hummed in satisfaction, taking a final glance at myself in the mirror, and with that, I walked out of the room with my small hand bag.
