CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY-SIX : BROKEN AND SHATTERED

~MAE~ “Please don't do this” Those were Rose's words as she was being dragged out by the cops. I'd expected Frank to change his mind but he didn't, instead, he opened the door wider, giving the cops enough space to walk through. “Why are you doing this huh!’” I yelled with glassy eyes as the cops went out with Rose whose loud pleas I could hear even till the car moved out of sight. “Doing what exactly” Frank said, licking his lips and walking towards me, trying to rub my exposed arms. I immediately slapped his hand off, staring angrily at him. Despite his handsomeness and cool countenance, all he looked like to me was nothing but a devil. “Come to your husband, I missed you baby” he said, spreading his hands forth but my angry expression didn't soften a bit. “Why do you keep hurting me by taking my loved ones enough from me, what wrong exactly have I done to you?” I cried, pushing him off as he tried embracing me in his arms. “Come on baby, it's for our own good. I don't want a
