Chapter 40 Weird

Scarlett was witnessing the whole scene. There was a sudden wave of sadness in her orbs. "Dad," she whispered, her voice was inaudible. "Ah! This is a bland. Give me some good food," Mr Thomson protested, shaking his head in distaste. "Now who is behaving like a child?" Amanda raised her eyebrows, keeping her hands on her waist in a mocking style. The sight of the perfect father-daughter bond was in front of Scarlett. They were looking so happy and content. A pang of longing surged through her heart. Deep inside her heart, she wished that she and her father would have also shared such a bond. But to her dismay, her father was always busy with conspiracies, money and most importantly with her step-sister- Camilla. As she was busy reminiscing the thought, she didn't realise when Amanda approached her. "Open your mouth, Scarlett," Amanda ordered, holding a spoonful of food. "What are you doing?" Scarlett moved her mouth in another direction. "What do you think? I will let yo
