Bianca pulled Megan forward and said, "Dad, Meg can paint too. In fact, she won many prestigious local and international prizes. Why not let her try drawing the dream that you were referring to?"
George dismissed the idea immediately. "No need—she won't be able to draw it."
Megan smiled and suggested, "Grandpa, why don't I give it a try? Even though my drawing skills may not be that great, I'm sure I can do better than Beth who has to use her left hand."
"That's right," Bianca agreed.
Megan sighed and continued, "Beth was too impulsive. No matter what happened, she shouldn't have hurt herself and ruined her future."
"What?" Bianca exclaimed, taken aback by the news that Bethany's wrist injury was self-inflicted.
Megan gave an apologetic look and said, "She didn't tell you? I've overstepped my boundaries. Please pretend that you heard nothing."
Bianca's disdain for Bethany deepened upon hearing about her foolish act. "We'll be so ashamed if news of this gets out!"
