Chapter 109 - Declined Help
Elsa came to an abrupt stop. Luna and Ramsey were still on the porch, their lips were moving but she couldn't place the words they spoke. It sounded like a series of overlapping muffles.
Their lips suddenly stopped moving. Even though neither of them had turned in her direction, they could sense that she was there. It was thanks to either their smell or listening sense. They were attentive; always paying attention to every stimulus that occurred in their surroundings.
Slowly, they both turned to look at her. Elsa's heart skipped a beat but she maintained a stoic demeanour.
"My son ran after you," Luna began with a straightforward face. "I see he's not back. Did anything happen perhaps?"
"Nothing at all," Elsa's voice was distant. "We just didn't see eye to eye on something, nothing deep like that."
"If it's a simple misunderstanding, why isn't he here?" Ramsey asked indignantly, his face flaring up.
"He's probably slow, I don't care," Elsa sighed, and her face dropped to the grou
