"How did the date go?" Rose asked Lizzie. Lizzie giggled like a little teen excited to tell a love story. "I went so well," Lizzie was saying. "The food was so good," Lizzie said. "And Rick was such a gentleman," Lizzie continued. "He was attentive, funny, and just...I don't know, he was everything I'd hoped for and more." She blushed as she thought about him, a smile playing on her lips. "It's like I've known him my whole life." "Wow," Rose said, a little surprised. "It sounds like you really hit it off. Lizzie's face lit up as she continued her story. "We went for a walk after dinner, and the sky was so clear, we could see so many stars. And Rick pointed out the constellations and told me all about them. I'd never felt so close to the universe before." "That's so romantic," Rose said, a dreamy look in her eyes. "You must have been on cloud nine." "I really was," Lizzie said, her voice full of wonder. "I've never felt so... I don't know if I was alive before. It was
