ERIC'S POV
I continued to process what I had just witnessed on the television, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of shock and confusion. The woman on the screen, confidently answering questions from journalists, was not the Rose I knew.
Her face was unfamiliar, and it left me with a sinking feeling in my stomach. Like how could this be happening? My mind raced with questions and I couldn't help but wonder what was really going on.
It was like I was seeing a completely different person, and it was both unsettling and puzzling. Still trying to make sense of it all, I couldn't shake off the overwhelming feeling of shock.
"Why are you silent, man. Are you shocked?" Clark asked.
"But how is this possible? They said Rose is..."
"Dead?" Clark chuckled. "That's what I also heard. But I had to find out that she changed her face, to avoid any social attention."
"What?" I brought out in a clamorous tone. "That doesn't even make any sense."
