"Do you have a photo?" he asked abruptly.
I was taken aback. "Mr. Vargas, do you know him?"
"I'm not sure; the name sounds familiar, like something related to a lost grandchild from a family I know. If you have a photo, I can compare it more closely." He was always meticulous in his approach.
I didn't have a photo on my phone. "I'll have to wait until after the flight to get one taken."
I was a grown man and never really liked taking photos. Naturally, I didn't keep any pictures on my phone.
"Wait, I have one," Barrette said while pulling out his phone. "I took a photo when I visited Alvin last time."
"Thank you." I took the phone and waited for Levi to put on his glasses to look closely.
In the photo, Alvin was looking at an art book, his side profile still showed a bit of baby fat.
