This meeting went on for almost an hour.
As always, Callen Feroch stayed at the corner of the bar, quietly drinking wine while talking to the head secretary.
When Jane walked out of the sliding glass doors, he put down his glass elegantly and stood up.
“Let’s go. You’ve been rushing to catch your plane the whole time, and have had no time to rest. You must be tired. Shall I escort you back to your room?”
“Callen, wait. Won’t you have a drink with me?”
Michel smiled and looked from the glass doors he was leaning against.
Upon hearing that, Jane’s stretched nerves became soothed. “Well, I won’t intrude the two of you catching up.”
Naturally, her reaction was noticed by Callen and his keen view. His deep pupils darkened slightly, but he was a smart man. He knowingly backed down and did not insist on escorting Jane back to her room.
