ULYSSES ALEXANDERS POV I was too busy roaming around and even eavesdrop about certain citizens in this village praising Cendrea's kindness and how they're rooting for Cynthia's safety in escaping away from the kingdom. But suddenly I sense that she leaves the inn and she is currently in danger. I sigh and leave the things I bought on this bush. I smell her scent and use the mark I instilled to her in reaching where she is. "Oh great, what a troublesome." I mumbled. She grabs the kid's hand and look on the six men surrounding them. These are just mere humans. That's good to know. "You didn't tell me peasant that you have such a beautiful elder sister." the one said. "She is—ump!" "What do you want from us?" she ask. 'Hmm...I sense that something had changed. Well, let me see what she will do for the meantime.' I stay on this side of the people who are not helping and just surround's them to gossip. What a bunch of good for nothing humans. "Of course you and your brother. We can use you and sell the two of you away in exchange of your father's debt." the other one said. The kid release himself from her palm and speak. "You are all lying. We know that father's debt is not that big! You only said that it was because you want to have the lot of our house! We won't leave our house and...and I will pay the real amount of father's debt. I remember once that he said to mother that the debt he have to your boss is just 50 silver and 70 copper coins. It's not true that he is indebted a hundred gold coins!" he said. That kid, I didn't sense any evilness nor lies in what he is saying. "I believe his words. How dare you using that to let them sold or take their home away from them. You morons and your boss are all greedy and evil. Leave the child away. I will...will pay for the money!" That made me chuckle. She looks brave yet innocent still. Those men laugh. They're about to grab them when she kick that man's crotch. "Ohhh!" then people said. "That is a bulls eye. Another of them is about to punch me when I stretch my hand and my fist cracks his nose and he fell down the ground. "Come and I will surely tore your bones into pieces. You heard this silly, we will help the hell out of you." I said. "What kind of people are you?" "Don't ask. Your mother and sister is hungry. Here's the food we supposed to eat." I said. He take it and opens the door, he invited us. We get inside. CYNTHIA MAXIMILLIAN POV I smiled before entering the door. He is not bad at all. Well, I already knew that. He must be cold and arrogant but her never turn his back when someone needs his help. I already sense his presence a while ago. I knew he doesn't have the heart to leave us in that situation and I was right. "Mother, little sister!" he shouted. A cute little child came, she must be wearing rug clothes but she was so cute. I level my height on her and grab her cheeks. She is surprised and scared when I pinch her cheeks. He suddenly grab my clothes and pulled me up. My feet is even a few inches away from the ground. I cross my arms and feel disappointed. "Stop right there, silly witch." he said and let go of my clothes. Good thing I landed correctly. "You are a bad werewolf! Hmp." I said and look on the other direction. The two kids drops their jaw. "What? Haven't heard a werewolf or even a witch?" "W-we heard them. W we just haven't m meet one." "We scared them." I said. He sighs. "Do you know how to make potions or even an elixir?" he ask and sits on the chair. I shook my head. "How can I even know that? Especially making one, I didn't live for 20 years as a witch. I just became one last night." I said. He sighs. He suddenly took a bottle in his pocket. "Make their mother drink that. It will help her. You two, come here and eat your dinner." he said to them. They're still agitated and afraid. "Come here or I'll eat the two of you." he said and make his eyes turns yellow. The kids move back, I held their shoulders. "Hey, don't scared the kids! You will be a father someday, learn how to mingle with children!" "I am mingling with children, I know one. But I never had the chance to play with kids in other races especially if they're humans." he said and eat the other side of the rotten apple. "Go and sit. Out the food on the table and eat your dinner already. Don't worry, he won't eat the two of you. That big brother is not bad. Trust me, okay?" "O okay..." the girl said. She went to the table first and her brother follows her. I saw them putting the food on their plates. I went to the room on the right side and I saw their mother lying on her bed. She is indeed sick. I held her hand and check her pulse. It was weak and unstable. I open the bottle and smelled it first, I even taste it. I waited for more minutes and nothing happens to me. I made her open her mouth and slowly drops the liquid. Her throat reacts until I have made her drink the potion. "Uhnn..." she mumbles. She slowly opens her eyes. She saw me, she arose from the bed and hug herself. I smiled and stood up. "I guess the potion is effective. Don't worry, I am not a bad witch. I already help you and you children, eat your dinner later on, okay? Ah! Before I forgot." I took the bag of money that I put on my clothes sleeve, I held her hand and put them on her palm. "Use that money to start a business. Make sure that you will stand in your feet again. You are the only person that your children have. You have to be strong, okay?" I said and step back.
