Chapter 17 Gem village turns to dust

CYNTHIA MAXIMILLIAN POV I look around. This is a normal village. I can't feel any dark aura here. That only means the vampires here choose to live happily without involving themselves in any bad acts. "You are a witch." a girl vampire said. My eyes widened. This is the little girl that I saw on my nightmare. I sat down and level my height on her. "I am. Are you afraid of me?" I ask. She shook her head and her brother came like a wind. "Amy, why are you talking to a witch?! What are you planning to do to my sister?" he asked. I smiled. "Nothing. Don't worry okay? I am not planning to do anything. Where is the head of the village—?" My barrier activated as soon as a vampire tried to hit me. By the look of it, their father is the village head. I smiled and bowed down. "I am Cynthia Maximillian. Can we talk?" "What do you want from our village?" he asked. "Maybe let's talk in your office or place? Where the kids won't hear us?" I asked. "Go to your mother. Tell her that I am talking to a stranger. Don't come near my workplace, okay?" "But father." the kid said. "Just go." he said. They nodded and left. "Don't worry, I am not a bad witch!" I shouted. But I can tell vampires eyeing on me which is normal. "Follow me on my workplace." he said. I nodded and followed him. His workplace smells like blood. But they are from animal's bloods. I sat down. "What do you want in this village?" he said. "Nothing. I just came because I wanted to run and unwind at the same time. I heard that gem village had been a secluded village where every vampire here chooses to live simply. So I guess I might visit it and see it myself. I can tell that stories are true." "We have been afraid that more vampires and bloodbaths will be faced by us by nonsense battles and wars between the four races. We choose to make a village where vampire who truly wanted to live peacefully can have life here." he said. "Not bad. Life is better when we live in synchronization. Can I stay then? I will make my own house and you guys can kill me if I made any suspicious action while living with everyone." "Make sure that your not here to do bad things against us. Welcome to gem village." I live with everyone in peace. I also see how they live in harmony and share things. They even eat what normal people eats along with the blood from the animals they raised. I step back and take a deep breath. "Don't tell me that it will happen today?" I mumbled. I have been living here for two weeks waiting for that premonition. I am hoping that it wasn't a premonition but I guess that is true. I open the door and I feel danger. "Everyone, on the plaza!" I shouted. They looked at me. Then giant cannon balls was approaching to us. I used my barrier magic but that didn't affect the whole village. Everyone comes out from their houses. "On the plaza! Now!" I said. "Listen to her! Beast slayers is nearby!" Mr. Grains. Then my barrier breaks. They are using a talismans nor they have a witch with them. "Please keep everyone safe. Men will fight with them." he said. His wife held his arms. "Conrad, what are you doing? Let's all leave!" "Erene. Take care of the kids from now on. I love you three." he said and kissed them in their foreheads. They left us in a flash. Erene spoke. "Let's all leave this village. Everyone, on the forest!" I turned my eyes into pink and looked at them. "Everyone stays here. I will be helping them." I covered them with the strongest barrier that mother created and left them. I saw those slayers. They're about to lay their swords on the vampires but I used my power and protected them. "Kill all these beast! From babies, children and elders. Everyone! No one should be left behind." their leader. I used my power to make their swords, arrows and all their other weapons floats in air. "Leave or all of you will be killed." I said. Then suddenly a strong witch came in front of them. She encircled us with fire and spread her hand who are creating thunders. Creepy! I mean if I will—I threw their weapons on the fire and they melted. A thunder is about to strike me but I slide until I am in front of her. She punched me by using her hand but a barrier protected me. I punched her back and marked her. "Aahh!" she said. I made us float and made strong thunders that destroys the village and enemies. ULYSSES ALEXANDERS POV "Who told you the news?" Chenqian. "One of our witches ally. They reported us about gem village. It is being slaughtered by a strong thunders. I have a hunch that Cynthia went to that place. Damn." Pricilla said. "And the king should've followed his mate on that place. We told you that you have to fulfill your duties as the king and alpha of this kingdom." Allan. "You are always putting his majesty in a situation that he shouldn't be doing. There are other alpha's that can do your desires." Estella said. Their eyes turned yellow and looked at her. I covered her using my arms and spoke to them. "I already do my part as the king of this kingdom and an alpha. I didn't told her to go on that village. She just left all by herself." I said. "You marked her, your majesty. Don't tell us that damn reason." Ruben. I sighed. "Please, elders, everyone. Let's all calm down and talk this over." Pricilla. They sat down. "That village is one of the peaceful village of the vampire clans. I already have a hunch that one day the beast slaying council will still lay their hands on them. This only means that the new head council are the one who never keep the peace talks between the four races. This only means that the prophecy had already started.
