ULYSSES ALEXANDERS POV It is nice to remember the days that mother and father is alive. But most of the dreams are lies. They haven't witnessed how I grew up and tried to be an alpha king. How I tried to be strong just like father. "How about the others?" I asked and held her hand. She offered hers and help me to stand up from lying on the ground. But my question is not being answered. Thanks to the sharp hearing or else I'll die in just a single swung. I used these woods as a shield. This is tough, I tried attacking them but it's really useless. Damn it! CYNTHIA MAXIMILLIAN POV I open the box again and choose to read the teleportation spell. I have to transfer us in Skyfall Kingdom as soon as possible. Those assassins is tough to deal with. It's like fighting a smoke that you can't touch. I looked on the others. "Please everyone, wake up." I mumbled. I started treading the grimoire that mom left on me. I still have long way to go but I hope I can do something at this case! I suddenly heard them moaning. "Uhnn..." they said. They started opening their eyes. Even a single slice or wound from it will cause death to all kinds." aunt Miranda. "What?!" I said. I look at him, he was only using a piece of wood. I looked on the book. "Teleportation spell, please!" I said. The book floats and even exerts light. It also turn the pages on its own. I heard a cracking sound. The barrier that I made suddenly cracks. Oh shoot! "Aaahhhh!" the children shouted. Windy and Wendell pushes aunt Miranda and their kids on the other side. They're about to be killed but my eyes glow even more. I protected them using a barrier that I made by just thinking. "No, Cynthia in your back!" aunt Miranda. I looked back but someone embraced me and covered me with his body. Blood spits from his mouth. "U Ulysses?! Aahhh!" I shouted. He smiled and then blood came out from his mouth. "Silly witch." he said. I thought because of his mark that's why he can't resist not to protect me. "Noooo!" I shouted. Something like an aura or a force covered me. That made the shadows vanished. I saw how the place changed. I can now see the stars in the sky. As if the dark mist of this mountain vanished. His embrace loosened, I kneel down and catche him. He closes his eyes. "No. No! You silly alpha. Why did you do that?!" I tap his cheeks trying to wake him up. Tears fall down my cheeks like a water from a fall. I put my face in his chest and cried. Wait...heart—beat?! "Wendell, can you lay down?" I ask. He lay down. I place him on Wendell's fur and check his pulse. He is still alive. But his pulse is getting weaker and weaker. "Please, don't you dare leave us alone here." I said. A knife appears in my right palm. I slices my palm and blood starts to come out. My palm turn to fist and let the blood drops on his mouth. "Please...wake up. Do something! Do something Cynthia!" I said to myself. 'He is not a vampire, why am I dripping my blood in him?' But I am too worried that I even do such a reckless and useless action. I hug him and sob like a kid. "Please...don't die." I mumbled. I suddenly feel a warm hand caressing my hair. I raise my face and his eyes slowly opens. He didn't even say a thing because I kiss him. I'm so happy that he didn't go. That he didn't die. He kissed me back. "I'm...glad that you didn't—die before my eyes." I said and wiped my tears using the back of my hand. He grabbed me and embraced me. 'What is wrong with him?' "Did you do this? I can see the stars now." he said. "Maybe. I just shouted and an aura from me washes the dark mist and the shadows also vanished. "Let's enjoy stars then." he said. I look above. He is warm and even Wendell also. "You made it, big brother!" the two kids said. Windy also lay down and the three lay on him. We stare on the sky. There is shooting stars that suddenly shows in the sky. "I wish for a grilled meat and rice." Daisy. I chuckled. We have witnessed and gone through so many things that we forgot about dinner. "I wish also, I am hungry myself." I said. Suddenly a plates of grilled meat and rice appear in front of us. We look on each other, we took some. "Let's gobble something and filled out stomach." Later on, they're all sleeping. I decided to go somewhere else. I started reading the grimoires and trying to perform a teleportation spell. It says here that I just need to draw these symbols and then snaps my finger to activate it. I started writing it. After that, I snaps my finger. "Beach." I pouted and caress the spot where he flicks me. ULYSSES ALEXANDERS POV "What was that for?" she asked. That was closed, when I open my eyes she's not beside me. I thought an enemy took her away. I was relief when I smell her scent again and found her standing on this part of this place. I cross my arms. "Where did you go? Have you ever thought that if we found your not around, we will look for you in this whole forests?" I said. A smile form in her lips. "Are you afraid that something happens to me? Are you worried?" she said making that cuteness. I sighed. "Never mind, just answer my first question." I said. "Your cute when your trying to hide your true feelings. Don't worry, I am not going anywhere." "Worried? Cute? Stop being a silly witch." I said. "Tss. Ohh." she said. She suddenly touches my cheeks. I give her a suspicious glare. "I am happy that you didn't die. I have never been afraid like that. It's strange you see. When I saw you were dying, I feel like my body is numbing. I can't breath and tears didn't stop from falling. I am more afraid that you'll die rather than being afraid of living in the dungeon." she said. I gulp. 'This woman, she's not afraid of showing her true feelings. I am worried that I am starting to be soft because of her. Don't be fooled, Ulysses!' She held both of my palm then meet my gaze. "I promise, this silly witch will try her best to be strong and train herself. I promise I will protect you all from here on." she said. She showed her sweet smile again. 'Forget it!' I let go of her hand and held her jaw. I kissed her again, she opened her mouth and kissed me back. Steamy moments came next. When I open my eyes. I saw the sunlight, a day. She indeed cancel the spell in this forests. She moans and open her eyes as well. Everyone also open their eyes, they made a 'whoa' sounds. "This place is no longer scary." Dallas. "The trees are happy seeing the sun." Daisy. I gave her my hand and helped her in standing up. "Everyone, let's go home." I said. "Uhm!" they answered. We started walking again. Later on, I can sense that they're tired already. "Let's stop on the river ahead. I can hear the water from here. Let's eat fishes this time. We are close to the nearest village of Skyfall Kingdom." I said. "Okay, big brother!" the two said. We stop by in the river and I decided haunting fishes. After that, Miranda starts to grilled them. We all eat after. "We still have a long way to go before we reach my palace. Eat well." I said. They nodded. "Aaahhhh!" she suddenly shouted. What again?!
