Chapter 55

The preparations for the baby shower were escalating. Dina was by the house almost every day, the shower was scheduled for mid-November and the plans were going just as they should. I honestly didn’t want a big thing but the pack seemed to disagree. They wanted it grand for their Alpha. They should have known that grand was a lot of work. Since our house did not have a very big backyard to accommodate the pack, other werewolves from the pack were brought in to clear some trees and do some landscaping for it to work. It was only natural that I and Aiden wanted the shower to take place at our home and not some events garden where it would be difficult for us to put the pups to bed. So it had been a bust week, lots of noise around and it was making Rafe antsy. I decided to move out for a bit until the landscaping was done with. We went to stay with Owen in the mean time. It was sad that Aiden couldn’t come with us as he had to stay and look over the house while the men did their work.
