“What are you waiting for? Come here.” His brows curl up, seeing me standing like a fool from where I am at. My hands are pulsating as I slowly walk closer to the sofa with each nervous step.
His eyes lower and stare at the direction of my feet and I know this wolf has sensed my trepidation.
Once I sit next to him, my eyes just glue to the TV screen instead. Silence is exchanged by the two of us as we both watch the main character and the rest of the cast singing Merry Christmas.
I remember this scene. This is the happily ever after scene of the main character finding his purpose of life after he witnessed a world when he wasn’t born. It has been Amy and my personal favorite movie of ours and we always watch this every Christmas.
“No man is a failure who has friends?” Seth reads the letter from the film out loud. He grimaces as he shakes his head. “What mumbo-jumbo fantasy are these humans sprouting?”
