I. War. Beat. But even that was an understatement.
If I'd to look at one more report, I was ready to quit and become a villain.
And judging by the look on my father's face when he walked into my office, I probably looked like one, too.
He grabbed me by the collar and yelled at me for overexerting myself before dragging me home from Chance so I could clean up and take a nap.
I was almost certain that Reece had called my father after I nearly strangled a pack warrior for grunting too loudly while fighting.
In my defense, though, I've to say that he didn't have to sound like a lawnmower while wrestling someone to the ground. I let it slide the first few times, but when he wouldn't stop, it got on my nerves.
It also didn't help that my wolf was pissed off and growling at everything he didn't like.
