I took a sip from a cup beside me to soothe my slightly dry throat.
Soon enough, it was already the third day. I packed everything needed for the business trip and sat in the living room to wait for someone. The doorbell rang, and I got up to open the door.
A woman in her 30s carried a simple large bag. Her skin was slightly tanned, and her features were well-defined. She exuded a sense of calm confidence.
She offered me a warm and genuine smile. "You must be Ms. Stark. Hello, I'm Lidia Murray."
I handed her the new slippers I had prepared. "Hi, Lidia. Thank you for attending to my mom over the next few days."
