Chapter 65 The Lesson Isn't Harsh Enough
Pierce had arrived early at the Cowley Bay villa and had been waiting in the first-floor living room for nearly two hours. The 8:00 am business meeting had been delayed several times, and he didn't dare call Harrison as that might disturb him. So, all he could do was wait.
During this time, Pierce drank three pots of coffee and went to the bathroom eight times. Finally, the sound of steady footsteps echoed from the stairs.
As Harrison came down the stairs, Pierce immediately rose from the couch. With his back straight, he greeted respectfully, "Mr. Spencer."
Harrison gave a slight nod in response, his gaze not lingering as he walked steadily toward the door. Pierce followed closely behind.
Once in the car, Pierce took a black folder from his briefcase and handed it to Harrison in the back seat.
"Mr. Spencer, this is the summary for the business meeting later. Please take a look," Pierce said.
