“An idea?” Laura asked, turning to face me and I nodded.
“Yes, an idea. I repeated.
“Shoot. Let's hear what it is.”
We were whispering now in fear that one of the distractions would catch up to us, and Laura's voice was as hush as possible.
Thanks to the mirrors all around, our location was out in the open. However, unless they were a veteran or stumbled upon us by luck, it would be hard for anyone to find us.
“I think we should split up.”
“We? Split up?” Laura asked like it was the most hilarious thing she had heard her entire life.
“Yes. See.”
We were currently in the middle of a four way. We had gone straight earlier, and thanks to that, we crashed into a wall. The wise thing to do would be to go another way, but there were two other ways to try.
