Talia's POV. I sat on the ground, wondering if I should just go back. A noise came from behind me. Danger alarms went off in my mind as I looked for where to hide.  "It's me." Gale's voice called out, and I stopped panicking and sighed.  "What are you doing here?" How in the world did he know where I was? "Making sure you don't hurt yourself."  "I thought you said you were going; did you change your mind?" Deep down, I was incredibly glad he was here; my chances of surviving this went up.  "Well, that guard you lied to, came to me. It is not very smart to send him to me when I already knew the plan you had in mind."  I shrugged my shoulders; I hadn't really thought it through. "Anyway, I told Zane."  "You what? What did he say?"  "He had a feeling something was off too; he said you should have said something about what you saw earlier, then he told me to go get you." "And Nell and Nicki, they didn't suspect anything?"  "No, he told me to find you when they were listening. H
