She took a sip from the bottle of water that Hunter passed her. Turning to Yoel with a look of disgust she said, "You just really don't know when to stop, do you? You are really starting to look greasy and cringy now."
Yoel's face fell. He was in his prime and here he was being described as greasy and cringy.
Today, he had been the recipient of too many insulting "daggers" from Sage and being the vindictive person he was, Yoel had to return the favor. "At this very moment, I bet my dear friend Jace is sitting in front of his laptop feeling defeated. I feel so sorry for him."
Furrowing her brows tightly together, Sage asked, "Who?"
"Jace. Jace Yuriel. Your ex-husband."
