Sage walked towards the kitchen and saw Jace dressed in his hospital gown frying an egg in the kitchen. He felt her at the door and he turned around immediately. "Awake already?” he asked.
Jace gently smiled at her as a drop of oil splattered on him and he jumped. He quickly checked on his fried egg. Jace was not like his usual CEO persona at all. He looked clumsy.
Sage sighed and signaled him to step away. It was a wonder he didn’t start a fire. She rolled up her sleeves and took the spatula over from Jace, “I’ll do it.”
