Chapter 15 A New Venture

I always remembered that Kai ventured into his interest in architecture and introduced a new high-energy feeling into all of our lives. The foundation did not fail to grow, and Kai was still involved with it but his attention slowly began to linger on his new venture. It was an idea he had been nurturing for some time: to provide effective and efficient solutions in the construction of shanty shelters for needy families. I was watching one evening when we were in the living room and he brought out blueprints and sketches on the coffee table. Lively emotions were written on his face as he described his great idea. Am sure you could visualize homes that are friendly to the environment as well as being affordable to needy families; We could push for the incorporation of cheap yet efficient and durable materials and designs into the construction of homes. I listened – it became clear that I was in front of an enthusiastic person. Again, Kai said, ‘Wow, this is astonishing, not only you
