Chapter 2

"Please take care of yourself while you're away from us, my angel. I might die of anxiety if ever that something bad has happened to you." Mom said while crying. I don't want to see them in this situation because of me. It makes me guilty. "Mom, don't cry, please. I promise that I'll be a good girl, here. Just don't cry mom," I cried and hugged her gently. I can hear how they laughed after I said that. "You little kid, you don't want to see me crying but here you are!" Mommy tapped my shoulder lightly that made me pout my lips. "But, mommy. I'll miss you and daddy so much, please visit me here when you're not busy." I begged with my pleading eyes and voice. "Of course my dear, I'll visit here to say hello to you, okay?" Daddy messed up my hair that made me smile. I wish I can always be with them. I will miss them so much, I can't afford to live here without my mom and dad. It seems like it won't take me weeks here. "I love you, my angel, we have to go. You also need to go inside, your aunt Kathleen will guide you inside the University." Daddy pointed the woman next to me. I politely smiled at the woman beside me who's wearing a formal attire. I bowed my head and greeted. "Hello, you are so beautiful." She blushed with what I said then bowed back. "You too, you are so gorgeous my dear." I giggled with that. She's as nice as my mom. They all laughed at what I did. "Mom, be careful. Daddy, drive well, okay? You might cry while on the road, don't think about me that much so you won't get emotional." I advised them. "Your daughter is so sweet, Victoria, why did you transfer her here anyway?" Aunt Kathleen whispered to mommy. But I still heard what she said. Why do they have to whisper at each other? "He just told me to do so, I can't do anything about that, Kathleen," mommy said while smiling, but her eyes seemed to be saying something. Who is mom referring to? Is it dad? Maybe it's dad. "I understand. Be careful while you're on your way back home, I'll take care of your daughter, Victoria, and Henry." Aunt Kathleen smiled at me as I smiled back. "Thank you, Kathleen. We're leaving. Arrow, please take care of yourself. Be careful here." Dad kissed my forehead. I wiped my tears as I kiss them on the cheeks before following Aunt Kathleen inside the campus. I looked at the whole University in amazement. The surroundings are stunning, the buildings are also beautiful. But the case is, I'm scared of the students here. Why are they all looking at our direction? Did I do something wrong? "Aunt Kathleen, why are they looking at us? Did we do something wrong?" I wondered. She giggled softly. "It's because you're so beautiful, sweety. We need to cover your eyes, they're so beautiful." I smiled at what she said. "Thank you, although I don't know how I got it. Mommy and dad don't have gold eyes." "Let's not talk about that anymore, sweety. Come, I'll take you around so you can be familiar with your new school." I nodded and smiled sweetly. She stroked my hair like mommy does. "You're so beautiful especially when you're smiling, Arrow. I just hope those smiles won't fade away from your lips." She said before pulling me. I SMILED and waved at my aunt who was walking away from me. She took me here in front of my dorm. I'm excited to meet who my dorm mates are, I hope we'll all be close. When my aunt disappeared from my sight, I knocked on the door in front of me. I waited a few more seconds before the door opened. I was about to smile but I was suddenly scared of the woman who showed in front of me. Her haircut is like men's haircut, her hair is also red. Then she also has tattoos on her face and thick eyeliner. Her lipstick was also black which made me even more scared. "H-Hello." I greeted her while stuttering. She raised an eyebrow at me and even chewed her bubble gum. "Who the hell are you?" I was startled because of the depth of her voice. "I'm Arrow, I just transferred here." I bowed politely. I'm afraid that she might beat me to death later. "Oh." She inflated the bubble gum and blew it as well. I winced at what she did because the gum was still sticking to her mouth. "Come on, I'm Miyuki by the way." She opened the door that made me feel relief. I really thought she was going to punch me. "Thank you, Miyuki." I went inside the room as she closed the door behind me. "Go on, they're in the kitchen." She passed by me and started walking. I just followed her because I'm still not familiar with this room. When we got there, two women showed up, having fun in the kitchen. Miyuki stopped the music causing the two women to look at our direction. "Oh, so here's our new dorm mate!" I suddenly backed away when the woman dressed in red rushed at me. The dress she's wearing is really beautiful and it suits her so much. She's sexy and beautiful. She also looks sweet and bubbly. "Hi, beautiful! like your contact lens! "she said. I was about to speak but she suddenly danced in front of me. Like the ones I saw in the movie, it was like she was dancing on the dance floor of a bar. I don't know what I'm going to do. I'm not used to talking to people like them. "It's not a c-contact lens," I replied shyly. She stopped dancing and looked me straight in the eye. I was surprised when she suddenly shouted at the top of her lungs. "Oh my gosh, Miyuki, Saiko! Her eyes are indeed gold!" I blushed with what she said. Is it normal here to create that kind of noise? They might scold us. The other woman looked up to me even though she was holding a book. She approached me and glared at me with her deep eyes. "Yeah, her eyes seem real," that was her simple answer before she turned her attention back to the book. I just scratched my neck because I didn't really know what to say. Mom, dad, it's scary here.
