Ivy felt a twinge of impatience seeing Angie's stubborn attitude, and she knew that staying here would only lead to more humiliation from Penny and her friends.
If she didn't have Wren to back her up, she couldn't afford to offend any of these women, given their influential family backgrounds. It was better to leave quickly now to avoid making the situation even more awkward.
Ivy shook her head and said nothing more. Her face was pale as she said, "I'm not feeling too well. Let's go to another restaurant for lunch."
