Chapter 35: The End of a Story Often Comes Out of Nowhere
Tony pursed his lips and stood in the doorway as the Smith family came over in full force, with Janet pointing directly at her and cursing.
Kathy cowered in the corner, her face white and not saying a word.
"How come you're not the one who got hit! If you had died, it would have been over."
The shrill cursing provoked the displeasure of the surrounding doctors and nurses, and it was only after a few words that Janet stopped for a while, but still stared straight at her.
The nurse in the operating room came out and said with a grave face, "The patient is bleeding profusely and needs a blood transfusion. Which one of you is the patient's family."
She immediately stepped forward, "I am I am, doctor take me there."
"Do a blood test first, then prepare for the transfusion." The nurse took a look and led her over.
