Monique’s pale face was covered in tears. She could still clearly remember the way her aunt and cousin treated her ever since she returned to that place. Her aunt’s words from yesterday stung her heart deeply. “No one wants you! Why did you come back?” She was an unwanted child, cast aside by her parents. She did not even have the chance to know what her father looked like. At the very least, her uncle still cared for her. However, her uncle and aunt would end up fighting whenever she visited them.
