Julie looked over at Lucian. The moment he entered the house, he pulled his tie off with one hand, then casually shrugged off his suit and tossed it over the couch. When she was walking up to the house with him, she had caught a faint whiff of alcohol, but she had not expected him to actually be drunk. He was not even walking steadily. Seeing this, Julie subconsciously reached out to steady him. The moment her hand touched Lucian's arm, his whole body froze. "I'm fine. You don't have to steady me." "Just how much did you drink?" asked Julie as she supported him in walking over to the living room couch. "Sit down first. I'll get you a glass of water." As she spoke, she turned and headed for the kitchen, but in the next second she felt someone grab her wrist. Julie glanced back at Lucian, who was now sitting on the couch, in puzzlement. "What's wrong?" He let go of her wrist, shaking his head wordlessly. Julie picked up a clean glass from the dining table and poured Lucian a gl
