Chapter 09

Ken’s POV When dad told me about the peace treaty before he died, my whole body said no. I love being in control, and I want everything to be in control. The feeling of being arranged made me hate the girl who was in the distance, who was going to affect my future. "This is your destiny. The Moon goddess has arranged everything. You just have to listen to your fate.” My father died after saying these words. I didn't have time to ask why. I've been up in arms about the peace treaty. Until I saw that picture. The girl in the photo has white hair and blue eyes. She is so beautiful and so special. They told me she couldn't transform into a Wolf yet, and my goal has always been to find a strong, capable Luna for the pack. But when I saw that picture, I felt like my life had a new meaning. I hate this feeling of being manipulated by fate. So when she came to the Proud Eagle Pack, I snubbed her. I paced back and forth in the office, resisting the urge to visit her. Until I saw her in a light blue dress with a blue ribbon in her hair twirling in the garden and swinging by the river. I felt my breath stop as the wind blew her headband to the ground and her long white hair followed the curve of the swing. I blew my top when I saw Jenny stepping on her headband on purpose. Afraid that she would be bullied, I immediately rushed to the river. But when I got to the river, I saw her throw Jenny to the ground. She's not as weak as I thought, though she doesn't have the power to transform into a Wolf. The tip of my nose is filled with the smell of snow, and I feel the whole world has become so fresh. I was absorbed in the enchanting smell, hearing her tell Jenny that she hoped it wouldn't happen again, and her telling me to keep my people in line. I didn't fully come to until she was out of sight. "Ola, I don't want to see you treat future Luna like that again. Jenny, May, I need to talk to your father!” I turned to the three girls and said seriously. I won't have anyone else hurt her. I heard cheering at the training ground, and I went outside and I saw her fighting Mike. Technically, she beat Mike up. I couldn't help but feel that she was more attractive in person than in her photos, and that she attracted me like a mystery that would never be solved. Makes me want to get close to her and protect her. I heard the werewolves whistling at her body, and I felt so angry. She is tall and thin, but also plump. Her legs were long, thin and straight, and her skin was white as snow. I saw so many werewolves admiring her body, it made me sick with envy. All I wanted to do was get her out of the gym and have her all to myself. So, I don't allow her to wear such tracksuits anymore. She's not allowed to sleep alone anymore. I desperately wanted to keep her locked up next to me. I exploded with jealousy when Dent held me on her shoulder while she was drunk and blushing. But she came over and rubbed my face and made me smile. When her hand touched my skin, I felt an electric current running through my body, making my heart beat faster. Looking at her giggling, my heart immediately softened. She always takes her meals seriously, as if it were such a fun thing to do. I was working behind my desk, and she was reading on the couch in my office. I felt this scene very familiar and warm, as if we were like this many years ago. I walked into the restaurant with her, and I loved the looks people gave me, like she and I were meant for each other. Dent kept smiling at her and she was shy. It makes me angry. I was even more angry when I waited in my bedroom for a long time and she didn't show up. I went to her bedroom and found that she had changed into her pajamas. This damn woman, she forgot my orders. I dragged her into my bedroom before she could speak, and for a moment I was afraid she would reject me. I, Ken Proud Eagle Pack alpha, how could a woman turn me down? Except, perhaps, for her. I ordered her to go to bed. I was relieved to see her well-behaved in bed. By the time I got out of the shower, she was asleep with her back to me. I lay down beside her, trying not to wake her. The smell of snow around me again, let me very happy. Leary, my Wolf, was excited again, jumping up and down in my subconscious, "Hug her, hug her.” he shouted. Every time I get near Natalie, my Wolf gets excited. I've never seen him so excited. "Leary, do you think she'll be our mate?” I have a theory for Leary's bizarre reaction. Bro. I don't feel her Wolf.” I reached around her waist. Her waist is so small that I can carry it in one hand. Leary was excited by the feeling. I felt at peace. I held her and thought no more of those pesky Rogues on the frontier, or of our natural enemies, vampires. I drifted off to sleep until I woke up the next morning. When I woke up, she was still asleep. When I opened my eyes, I saw her beautiful face. For a moment, I thought she wasn't made by the goddess, I thought she was the goddess herself. Although I don't know why I had such a strange idea. Whether she is my mate or not, I want to spend my whole life with her. I didn't treat her well the first day she came. I have to make it right now. I quickly get out of bed, I simply tidy up and go out. I ordered the maid to make breakfast for Natalie and mind-link Dent. "Dent, I need a grand welcome. You go get ready.” "A welcome ceremony? Who is welcome?” Dent looks confused. Dent, who I grew up with, is a strong black Wolf and has always been considered the second most handsome of his pack. He's efficient, and he likes to hook up with different girls. Lately, I feel like he's a little interested in my Luna. "My Luna, Natalie, of course.” I folded my hands and looked at him. He was silent for a moment, then, with a wicked smile, said, "You were taken with her, weren't you? Are you ready to accept her at last?” He nudged my arm with his elbow. "I never said I wouldn't accept her. She will always be the future Luna of this group, your future Luna.” 'I continued seriously. He, too, snuffed up his smile and said sternly, "Got it. Promise to finish the job, Alpha.” And he left the office. I had to identify her to every werewolf in the pack.
