The hotel room Emelie and William had reserved boasted a private natural hot spring pool. Emelie was hesitant to use it because of her pregnancy. Although the attending doctor had reassured her that soaking in hot springs was safe for expectant mothers, she preferred to err on the side of caution. As such, she sat by the pool's edge and dipped her feet into the warm water where a small table nearby was filled with snacks, fresh fruits, and drinks. William, on the other hand, was enjoying a soak in the pool itself. Emelie was replying to messages from friends and family as well as handling some work matters on her phone. In fact, there was little to manage. Her newly appointed deputy general manager was highly competent and had taken care of everything. She knew that Emelie and William were on vacation and didn't want to be disturbed, so she handled everything herself. Emelie didn't have to worry and just needed to review the completed tasks.
