Emelie glanced in the rearview mirror while she drove. "Is Cindy Mitchell a spy for Mr. Ramsey?"
William's eyes were half-shut out of exhaustion as he hadn't slept well last night. It made him look cold and distant.
"Sending someone to spy on us isn't the most classy move. Still, Cindy is a really good honeypot," William mused.
Cindy did check all his boxes.
Emelie guessed that Jeremy must've found out that William had gotten into an argument with his father because of Daphne, hence why Jeremy sent Cindy to William. Cindy was incredibly similar to Daphne.
William had taken a liking to Cindy and was willing to concede to things for her, showing how infatuated with her he was.
Emelie's lips quirked up. She'd do as her employer said, regardless.
