"Ms. Hoven?" Elias raised a brow, thinking Emelie wanted a lawyer.
He assumed it was to sue William for obstructing her from working. He chuckled at the thought.
"What's the big deal? Married couples argue all the time. It's part of life. Just go home, apologize to Will, and make nice. Is it worth all this fuss?"
Emelie had no desire to hear about William now. After bidding Ashley farewell, she left directly.
Ashley turned away unconcerned.
Elias grabbed Ashley's hand, smirking. "Your husband's here, and you don't even say hello?"
Ashley hesitated at the mention of her husband, then said, "I have work to do, and a client is waiting."
Elias let go of her hand and flippantly replied, "Fine. We'll talk later when you're free."
After Ashley finished meeting the client, she found Elias leaning against the desk. He was shamelessly flirting with the blushing receptionists.
