Chapter 9

After they got off the private plane, they went straight to the five-star hotel. Blossom didn't even speak while they were in the car, but she noticed Leo was staring at her with concern. It was noon when they arrived at the airport. When she they're on the plane, the entire flight was too silent, she didn't even eat, and she kept her eyes on the sky as if the sky would give her answers to everything that kept bothering her Leo did not force her to eat because he noticed she was not in the mood. It was only a few hours before they arrived at the hotel. She didn't wait for her husband and went down first with her heavy suitcase. She needs to go to sleep because the rant will start tonight. While she was struggling to drag her suitcase, someone grabbed it hard. She was about to shout at him for she thought it was Leo, but she stopped, and her mouth fell in the air as a smiling handsome man with a dimple showed up at her. At first, she frowned but later, her eyes sparkled, realizing who it was, "Uriel?!" She dropped the suitcase and jumped for joy. She hugged him unconsciously and forgot that her husband was with her watching her hug others while Leo had his expression dark. "Yes, it's me." "Of course, who wouldn't be?" Uriel added. "Well, the last time we saw each other..." Uriel rubbed the back of his neck as it turned red before he continued, "Nevermind. Anyway, have you eaten now? It's a long flight from New York to New England. Wanna grab a bite?" Blossom displayed a dazzling smile. "Yes-" but before she could continue what she was about to say, Leo grabbed her arm too tight. "We should have eaten if you hadn't interfered," Leo coldly interrupted and joined their conversation. He pulled her arm harder and then wrapped his arm around her waist as if someone was trying to snatch his wife from him. "Oh! It's my fault; I felt bad; I didn't even see you standing behind Blossom. What are the reasons that you were here? Aren't you supposed to be on a business trip-" "This is the place where my business trip will be held. Is there anything wrong with it?" Blossom unintentionally bit her lip when she felt that another thorn was buried into her chest. No, it's not a thorn; it looks like a crossbow. When she thought that Leo would accompany her to her fashion show because he was too worried about her, her hope rose, but she was wrong. Leo was with her because of his business trip. Perhaps if she left him, Leo and Erin would meet secretly. "Oh, there's nothing wrong with it. Then I guess my decision to join this ramp was right after all. Since you will be very busy with your business." Uriel flashed his mischievous grin and then grabbed Blossom's other hand, which caused Leo's arm to be removed from her waist. "You don't need to worry about your wife because while you're not around, I can protect her." The two men measure their looks at each other, and they both do not want to let go of Blossom's arms. When her arms started to ache and slowly turned red, she both stepped on their feet to let them go. Unfortunately, the two men didn't budge, so she had to speak. "If you two didn't stop. I will go back to New York." When the two men returned to their senses, they slowly let off her arms. As soon as they let her go, Blossom ran away from them and even left them. At first, Leo just watched her until she disappeared from his sight, but after that, he also followed her. But before he left Uriel, he said something to him. "I am aware of how you see my wife, Uriel. But, unfortunately, you can't have her. She is mine; I want you to remember that she will always be mine. Put that in your little head." "But, it looks like it was too unfair to Blossom. You're hitting two birds using one stone. Leo, if it was Erin that you genuinely liked, go to her, but you must divorce Blossom."
