Chapter 6

Third Person's Point of View The next day, Blossom woke up as if a hundred people had beaten her body. She couldn't even lift one of her fingers, and the bed pulled her back. She yawned as she closed her eyes and would have stood up but quickly realized something! With eyes widened, she remembered what had happened last night. Her neck almost broke when she turned to the side of her bed to discover Leo had already gone. A hundred needles pierced her heart when she saw no trace of Leo beside her. If she looked closely, he didn't leave a trace on the bed as if he wanted to convey to her that what happened last night was not real; all of that was just a dream and fantasy. She smiled bitterly, and her white eyes were now slowly covered with water. Though weak and had a sore feeling between her legs, she still tried to enter the bathroom and lie down in the bathtub. She felt no strength because she wondered if last night was also memorable for Leo. Because for her ... for her, that night was the biggest happy day of her life. She couldn't forget about it even if God put amnesia to her. That night she gave herself entirely to her love, including her heart. The night sky, the stars, and the moon witnessed it. One hundred days ... For 100 days, she promised to herself. She leaned her head and boldly looked at her reflection in the water. In that hundred days, what would she do? Just cry and wait for her husband to be stolen by that pretender woman?! No way! She needed to seduce her husband! She needed to make the most of those 100 days! She would have no problem if she succeeded in stealing Leo's heart. But ... if she failed, at least she could say that she had done the things she wanted to do with Leo in a hundred days. When she finished bathing and choosing clothes, she looked at her reflection in the mirror. "Pretty!" She complimented herself as she turned around in front of the mirror and observed how elegant she wore. It's a maroon one-shoulder dress with a black stilettos suit and a black pouch. Even though she looked like a villain, it looked like this was the thing she needed to wear to scare the women who planned to take her place in her husband's life. She couldn't help but wonder what Leo saw in Erin because when she saw what that mistress was wearing, there was no denying that she was a cheap girl! Not long after, she decided to cook Leo's lunch. She would go to his company today to surprise him. She knew it wasn't a surprise for him but a horror. She was ready to be a ghost in his eyes as long as she was the wife. She couldn't just be miserable, she couldn't just suffer, and even more, she couldn't let anyone be happy while she was drowning in pain! In the few years she had been gone, she would take back the things taken from her. She just cooked a simple soup because she learned from the newscaster that there would be rain. She also prepared an umbrella for him to use. As she covered the containers, the smile on her lips couldn't be erased because she couldn't believe that she was now Leo's wife. She asked the driver to accompany her when she had finished preparing everything. Since it was better to sip hot food because the weather was coming, she also decided to buy coffee for him and her. "Wait for me. I'll be quick." "Yes, Madame." When she got out, it was as if she had already painted a smile on her lips. However, she wouldn't have thought that that smile would instantly disappear when she opened the coffee shop's door. It was unfortunate that she ran into the lady she wanted to avoid seeing the most, and despite her best efforts to seem classy in this woman's eyes, it appeared that she could not stop herself from behaving like an amazon girl. Erin spoke to her with an eyebrow up, "Excuse me." "Excuse you?" Once again, Blossom was taken back to the moment she recollected the first time she had seen this person with her husband. No matter how hard she tried to keep from thinking about it, she couldn't contain the wrath that was built up inside of her. She couldn't stop as if there was a video card that played over and over again in her head. "Excuse. Me." She said emphatically. "You are blocking my way." Blossom flashed a smile at her before resuming their conversation, "I'm not blocking you. Is it my fault that you're trash that disperses wherever? What? Do you want me to adjust for you again?" When Erin clenched her teeth, it gave Blossom the idea that she needed to mock her even more. "Are you sure you're alright? Or perhaps you are still experiencing delusions, thinking you are the rightful owner of the husband you robbed." Blossom could see the terror in Erin's eyes as she looked around, embarrassed that someone may overhear them. Erin's face was covered in blood as she tried to hide her humiliation. Before responding to Blossom's remark directed against her, she inhaled deeply and didn't let herself lose, "With that size of you, you think I won't notice you?" Blossom's disposition shifted directly from Erin's words, and it seemed as if she was engulfed in flames; yet, she was not incorrect; this lady was only acting to get Leo to feel sorry for her. Blossom could not respond to Erin's insult, so Erin used the opportunity to bump her arm. She was about to drop the soup she had prepared for Leo; luckily, she caught it. However, the woman came out of the coffee shop before she could get revenge on her. When she glanced around, she saw that nobody seemed to be listening to what they were saying. A few minutes later, she regained control of herself and decided to proceed with the purchase of coffee for Leo. As she waited, it started to rain, which made her happy because she had a good feeling about what she was carrying and thought that Leo would appreciate it. When she arrived at the building, she was carrying the coffee and soup she had prepared while other employees looked at her and greeted her. It was no longer mysterious to other people who she was and her role in Leo's life. Nevertheless, other people appeared anxious when she arrived as she simply ignored them. As she waited for the elevator to chime again to let her know that she had arrived at the correct level of Leo's office, she couldn't help but feel anxious. *ting* When she heard it, excitement and exhilaration almost caused her to leap out of her skin. She intended to sprint to Leo's room, place the prepared food on his table, and then join her husband for lunch. Nevertheless, because she could hear someone inside the room conversing, she was unsure whether she should knock on the door or wait for the person inside to come out on their own. She was now standing in front of the door, undecided. She bit her lip and then cautiously put her ear to the door. However, the door opened even before she could finally put her ear to it, causing her to tumble to the floor and the hot liquids she was carrying to spill to the floor as well. The hot soup and coffee scalded her legs, but when she glanced up and saw her husband's arm wrapped around his mistress' waist, she felt as if her whole body had gone numb. Even though she could not feel the liquid heat, the anguish and pressure in her chest made the situation seem intolerable. She intended to snatch Leo's arm and remove it from Erin's waist. "Motherfucker!" She wanted to scream that term in Leo and Erin's faces, but Erin's grin made her know that she was the one who was going to come out on the losing end of this conflict. "Let's go?" Leo invited Erin. She longed to raise her hand and implore them not to go, but as Leo stomped on the cup of coffee and the container where the soup was, she finally accepted her loss and admitted that she had lost today. As her body began to weaken, she did nothing until the two were no more in her line of sight. And just when she was starting to believe that no one could salvage her marriage with Leo, she unexpectedly received a call from someone she did not anticipate. "So, what's going on?" The caller asked. "M-mom..." As her voice and lips trembled, she tried to speak but failed. Only air came out of her mouth. Her eyes had no tears, but the chain that gripped her heart seemed to come from lava because of the extreme pain. She wanted to cry out the sorrow so that the feelings she felt for her husband would no longer exist when the tears were gone. "Is he with his mistress again?" Blossom nodded even though the person on the other line couldn't see her as she still had the phone to her ear. The woman she was talking to was Cristel, her mother-in-law- Leo's mom. "W-what should I do?" "What are legal wives supposed to do?" "But I'm scared..." If Blossom's tears hadn't been there before, they were now like rain as big teardrops fell one after another from her eyes. Cristel lowered her voice, "If you're afraid, love has no place for you. Love is sacrifice. If you can't do it, you don't have to." After Cristel spoke, Blossom slowly stood up and touched her burnt legs cause of the soup she had prepared for Leo. "Thanks, mom!" She hung up and hurried to the elevator. She didn't hesitate to get in and follow the two. Before the elevator stopped, she received a message from Cristel, [I'm going home soon.] She didn't reply anymore and got off but felt more relieved. After that, she instantly found her husband and his mistress outside the building getting into his luxurious car. She was discouraged because she could not follow them if her car was parked in another parking area. She just sat like a loser under the scorching heat of the sun. 'This won't do.' When she was about to get up and go home, she was surprised by a car that looked just like Leo's. She thought he had come back for her, but when she got up to peek inside, the man slowly rolled down the window and saw Uriel Giacometti, her husband's cousin. "Until now, you are still the one chasing after my cousin. Like I told you, if you filed for divorce and married me, we might have three children now." Uriel winked at Blossom as his dimple added to his attractiveness. "Uriel!" Blossom suddenly cheered when she saw him, "Uriel, let's follow Leo! They haven't gone too far yet, and we can chase them if we go now!" "Why? I think you should separate so you will end up with me." "Stop messing around, please." "I'm serious, Blossom." Blossom stared at him with teary eyes. However, Uriel stood by what he believed. After pondering a long time, he sighed and announced, "Get inside. This will be the last time I'll help you. In the future, I'll steal you from him." Blossom kept quiet since she was certain that Uriel meant every word he spoke. Because he didn't conceal his feelings, she already knew how he felt about her. The only issue was that she would have chosen someone to love if she could, but Leo was the one who was constantly on her mind and in her heart. "Use me... Blossom. Use me all you want to make Leo jealous if you're worried about you and him. Just let me stay by your side."
