CHAPTER TWELVE – A CALM DINNER

Madison stepped out of the car, feeling a cool night breeze on her face. Looking up, she whispered, "Penthouse floor?" Henry, already excited, grinned. "Told you it'd be epic! Let's check it out!" He hurried towards the grand glass doors, labeled 'Penthouse - E. Carter'. Madison followed, curious yet nervous. Inside, the lobby was modern and minimalist. Marble floors reflected soft light. A waterfall near the entrance added a soothing touch. The elevator opened to a private foyer with warm light. Madison gasped at the panoramic city view from floor-to-ceiling windows. "Whoa!" Henry exclaimed. "This is like a movie set! Is this the living room?" It was indeed vast, with plush couches and modern art. A balcony offered an incredible view.
