Amelia felt a chill run down her spine. "What are you talking about?"

"That's not true," Amelia said, but a seed of doubt had been planted. She glanced at Alessandro, who stood rigid, his fists clenched at his sides.
Michael pressed on, his voice taking on a persuasive tone. "Think about it, Amelia. The company's growth has stagnated under Alessandro's leadership. We're losing ground to our competitors. If something isn't done soon, everything your grandfather built will crumble."
Amelia shook her head, trying to clear the confusion. "But why Dante? Why go behind our backs?"
