CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY EIGHT - THE THIN LINE
Amelia smiled, leaning into him slightly. "We did this together, Alessandro. I couldn't have done any of it without you."
Just then, they were approached by Tío Rafael, one of the older members of the family. "Amelia, Alessandro," he said, his eyes twinkling. "I must say, you two have brought honor back to the De Laurentis name. Your ancestors would be proud."
"Thank you, Tío," Amelia said, touched by his words. "We're just trying to do right by the family."
Rafael nodded sagely. "And you have. Now, tell me about this foundation you're setting up. I have some ideas I'd like to discuss..."
As Rafael launched into his thoughts, more family members gathered around, eager to contribute their own ideas and opinions. The conversation flowed freely, touching on everything from local charities they could support to international causes they could champion.
