Chapter 49 The Promise

Suddenly, a luxury car pulled up! It was Anders' car! Sally momentarily forgot to breathe, and the van, upon seeing Anders' car, quickly turned around and drove away! "Gale! Gale!" Sally cried as she rushed to Gale's side. Gale was covered in blood. Sally held him, almost fainting from her tears. Anders frowned deeply. He first called an ambulance and then walked towards Gale. Sally sobbed uncontrollably, afraid to move too much in fear of worsening Gale's severe injuries. Gale's face was covered in blood, but his gaze remained fixed on Sally. "Sally, Sally..." Gale reached out, trying to touch her face. Sally quickly grabbed his hand and pressed it against her cheek. "I'm here, I'm here. Gale, hold on a little longer, the ambulance will be here soon."
