Tears streamed down my face as I shared with Tristan the earlier incident. With each word, I could see his expression harden, revealing his growing disdain for Jameson.
I couldn't shake the regret. "How could I have forgotten to take my grandma's belongings? How could I let that slip my mind? How could I possibly forget something so important?"
After that, I wanted to hit my head in frustration.
Tristan grabbed my hand and explained, "Because you've lost your memory. You can only recall events from before you turned 18, leaving everything that happened afterward forgotten."
With my head bowed, I wept. "I can't believe I forgot. How could I have left something so important to Jameson? I regret it so much."
With his usual gentle tone, he reassured, "Wyn, don't be sad. A broken bracelet and a damaged photo can both be fixed."
I was surprised. "Really?"
Tristan smiled. "It's true. I'll never lie to you."
I laughed and said, "Thank you so much, Tristan."
Tristan took the warm towel
