"Don't you want this anymore?" Jameson threatened to drop the opal bracelet.
I felt an invisible pain in my heart and slowly knelt down.
Xandra remarked sarcastically, "Oh, what a devoted granddaughter."
Then, she turned to Jameson. "Jameson, to divorce you, she actually..."
Jameson abruptly snapped at her, "What are you even doing here? Get out!"
Xandra was startled and wanted to cry, but the sight of Jameson's anger held her back. She looked at me suspiciously, scanning me from head to toe.
