I couldn't bring myself to thank him.
Tristan's hand rested lightly on the steering wheel. His wrist was as slender and elegant as a piece of art.
I recognized that the watch on his wrist was an Audemars Piguet. It was understatedly luxurious and very expensive.
Suddenly, he turned to look at me. Feeling embarrassed, I averted my gaze and asked, "Um… Tristan, where am I supposed to go now?"
I frowned, trying hard to rack my brain. "I forgot where Chloe lives."
Tristan sighed. "Are you really sure you've forgotten everything?"
I nodded. "The doctor said I have intermittent amnesia. I might not remember anything at all."
Tristan frowned. "Is it really that serious? Does Jameson know?"
I shook my head, forcing a bitter smile. "He doesn't believe me. He thinks I'm just making it up."
Tristan seemed a bit angry. He fixed his gaze on me for a moment before changing the conversation. "Do you have WhatsApp?"
