Chapter 47 - A weekend with Stanley

A weekend with Stanley That Friday evening after work, Jessica had told Stanley that she would like to spend the night with him and have a sleepover at his apartment. "It's six o' clock, so fast!" Jessica said as she glanced at the wall clock. "Are you going out this evening?" Her mom said as she diced some carrots on a tray in the kitchen. She had seen a small travelling bag stuffed with clothes in Jessica's room and had wondered where Jessica could want to go to. "I will be having the weekend at Stanley's" she replied her mom as she combed her smooth silky brown hair. "Okay, but can't you spend only a day with him and not the whole weekend?" Her mom said now getting worried. "Why? Is something bad gonna happen?". Jessica snapped at her mom. "No,,.no that's not what I mean?" "So what do you mean then?, I've been busy with work that I spend less time with my boyfriend and now I want to cover up by spending the weekend with him and you're trying to stop me".
