"Thank you! Thank you so much!" Whitney was overwhelmed with gratitude as she watched the shopkeeper dial the number and relay their location to the police.
"Alright," the shopkeeper reassured her after hanging up. "Just stay here and wait. The police will arrive shortly."
Whitney thanked him again, her emotions in turmoil. She had been missing for days and had no idea what was happening back home. Was her father worried? She was certain that Yvette must have been frantically searching for her.
