Dante looked at the plate that was still half-filled with pastries. He'd never wanted to eat them before, but now, he picked one up and took a bite. It was rather sweet and did taste quite nice.
Still holding the pastry, he got his phone out and made a call. "Buy me some books. Hm? What kind? I don't know. Just get me a few of every kind."

Melina left the house with a thousand dollars in hand. It was a lot of money to her, but it wasn't enough. She still needed 120 thousand to rebuild the elementary school.
After leaving, she didn't head back to the Wentworth residence. Instead, she tried to see if she could find a job to do at night, to no avail. Summer jobs weren't the easiest to find as most places didn't need short-term workers. Plus, she only had her nights free.
