Melina swiftly bounced back without allowing herself to wallow in sadness and pain. Her main priority now was to earn money. She'd taken a few days off to look after Andrew, but since he didn't seem to need her care, she decided to head back to work today itself. It was Monday, so she could carry on with her tutoring in the afternoon as well. After changing into her old clothes, she headed downstairs. She planned on heading to Oakread after work today to bring some of her clothes over. That way, Wallace wouldn't have to keep buying new ones for her. The sun had just barely risen. Thinking it was still early, Melina assumed everyone else was still asleep. However, when she got downstairs, she saw Celine's two young daughters sitting on the living room couch and chatting while they played on their phones. "Quick. Once we're done with this round, we need to hurry up and head back to our room. We'd be doomed if the adults came down and realized we'd stayed up all night playing games."
