Inevitable

Kristen's POV After eating dinner, I went to my room. I sighed staring at the ring he gave me. 'I want to wear it but I can't" I whisper to myself Then a sudden knock on my door disturbed me. 'Come in!" I shout as I place down the ring It's dad. 'Hey dad, what's up?" I ask, he sits down on my bed. 'Can you not really forgive the guy?" he asks suddenly 'He didn't only break my heart, but also my trust dad. And trust takes years to build and it only took a minute to break mine" I say 'He's really sorry for what he has done." 'Sorry doesn't cut it all out. It's like he showed me how worthless I am. He chose someone else rather than believing me and now that truth came out, he acts like that. I do understand, I really do but what if the truth never came out? What will he do then? Who will he choose? I get that he tried to find me but if the truth never came out, we'd still be fighting over it again and again, it would be like a chain" I ask my father who's apparently on his side
