Although he was no match for Andrew, Mike was confident when it came to dealing with women like Bernice. Knowing that she couldn't escape the impending encounter, Bernice took a deep breath and assertively said to Mike, "There's obviously no beef between Mr. Parker and me. Why am I being brought into this matter?" Bernice was very frustrated by this. She had done nothing wrong, yet she found herself in this predicament. Mike scoffed, saying, "You've only got yourself to blame for hooking up with the wrong guy. Anyone who pisses off Mr. Parker is in for a world of hurt, and that goes for the people around them too. "Bernard recklessly and foolishly threatened Mr. Parker. As his partner, you, too, must face the repercussions." With that, Mike walked straight up to Bernice, his greedy gaze wandering over her, giving off a sleazy vibe. When he reached out his grubby hand to seize Bernice, she forcefully slapped his hand away and took two steps back to put some distance between them.
