Bernard, aware of Henry's volatile nature, put on a congenial smile. "Mr. Parker, surely you jest. You've encountered countless beauties in your time. How about I personally attend to you after the banquet? I'll make sure you're well entertained." He added casually, "By the way, my father, Pearson Clarke, and Joshua are on good terms. Joshua himself will be attending my wedding to Bernice." Bernard intended his actions to show respect to Henry and build a stronger bond. However, the result backfired. Henry's expression darkened at Bernard's words. He stared at Bernard for a long moment before a sneer twisted his lips. "Do you take me for a jest? Even if Pearson Clarke himself were here, he wouldn't dare speak so casually to me. Who do you think you are?" His words silenced the room, leaving a tense hesitation in the air. Bernard, caught off guard, floundered for a response. Henry noticed Andrew standing motionless in the distance and sneered again. "Hey, are you ignoring me? If yo
