Seth nodded politely. "I wouldn't dare miss your 80th birthday, Mr. Hicks Senior. Here's a gift for you—happy birthday."
Logan took the gift with a smile. "You and Milton need to quit squabbling. Even without gifts, I'd still be happy."
Seth chuckled. "That's between him and me, Mr. Hicks Senior. You don't need to worry about it. Just take care of your health."
Logan waved a dismissive hand. "Fine, I won't get involved in your nonsense. Now, let me introduce you to my grandson, Mark, his fiancée, and their daughter. Look at this little girl—she's adorable and looks just like Mark!"
He gestured for Daisy to come closer. "Come here, Daisy."
Daisy, fearless and cheerful, ran over and tilted her head up, flashing him a radiant smile.
Her smile lit up Logan's face. "Oh, my sweetheart, your smile is better than all my presents today. Here, I have a special gift for you."
He pulled a small pouch from his pocket and handed it to her.
