Chapter 96

It was a rough night for Natalie. She had a dream that she was pregnant. In the dream, Taylor demanded that she bear the baby so that he could secure a ten percent share in the Jones company. He even teamed up with Bethany, and they threatened to hurt her unconscious mother if she were to go against him. Things took an unexpected turn when Taylor choked Natalie's mother to death by accident. Bethany was complacent and started showing off in front of Natalie. Not only that, she wanted to push Natalie off the top floor of the Jones company building. Natalie wanted to scream for help, but she had lost her voice. "Help!" A strangled cry finally escaped from Natalie's throat as Bethany pushed her off the 66th floor. Suddenly, Natalie woke up from the nightmare. Staring at the familiar ceiling above, Natalie slowly regained her consciousness. Her head was beaded with sweat as she sat up in bed. She couldn't help but feel a sense of relief for making out of the "disaster" alive.
