Chapter 46
As Atlas and I walked to our automobile together, my smile never left my lips. Lyka was on my right, with a solemn expression, while Atlas was on my left, with no emotion on his face as he looked forward.
Lyka had previously been a highly talkative person, but she has suddenly become quiet. Both of these made me shake my head. They are acting strangely today, even though I am used to seeing Atlas"s expressionless face virtually every day because that is what I always see on his face.
What struck me most was Lyka"s astonishment. She is not one of those people that prefers to keep to herself when it comes to expressing herself. She was continually talking, and I was not the only one who was getting bored of her.
Then I poke her softly.
She arched an eyebrow at me and shifted her eyes to mine. Unexpectedly, I groaned. Because of what she did, she appears to be a rude woman. When she looked at me, she did not have a grin on her face.
